AK500+ is different from AK500!

It is easy to feel confused on , for looks like and names almost the same. Many people usually misunderstand AK500+ and AK500, and they often regard them as the same device.  I am one of them. Actually, AK500+ is different from AK500!

If you want to program keys for Mercedes Benz vehicles, you can use AK500+ with EIS SKC Calculator or use AK500 only. Days before, I do not know what difference between them is until the customers service on xcardiag.com told me.

Their main differences of the two car key programmers are with/without 8pin cable, cars compatibility and their program methods.

1.          Ak500+ SKC without 8 pin cable, for ak500+ SKC read EIS data and calculated by SKC and it can program keys. However, when you sue ak500 to program keys, you should remove three EIS ESM/ESL ECUs. Therefore, AK500 needs 8pin cable to read ESM data.

2.Ak500 can do less car models than ak500+ with SKC.

3.Whats more, ak500 has 95xxx. Hence, ak500 removes ECUs to weld to 95xxx adapter.
