How to solve Silica SBB key programmer V33 token errors?

SBB Key Programmer is a token needed SBB Key Programmer for multi vehicle makes. Users should load the new token onto the device by inserting a smart card which contains the credits. There are usually has two occasions when transferring the credits.

Occasion 1 Credits have been successfully transferred.

If the credits have been successfully transferred, the SBB program will displays message as below.

“OPERATION SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED!”

Occasion 2

Credits have not been successfully transferred.

If the credits have been successfully transferred, the program will pop out following error messages.

1) “SMART CARD COMMUNICATION ERROR.CHECK INSERTION POSITION”.

CAUSE: The smart do not insert properly or damaged SBB Key Programmer.

SOLUTION: Make sure the smart card ahs been inserted properly.

2) “SMART CARD TPYE MISMATCH”

CAUSE: The smart do not insert properly

SOLUTION: Try to update the newest version and return to the card to Slica by press any key.

3) “SMART CARD ALREADY SBB Key Programmer USED”

CAUSE: The smart card has been used or can not be re-used.

SOLUTION: Change another smart card.

4) “SMART CARD VERSION MISMATCH. FIREWARE UPDATE REQUIRED”

CAUSE: The card is not match with the SBB current version.

SOLUTION: Try to update the newest version available and return to the card to Slica by press any key.

5) “SMART CARD WRONG TOKEN NUMBER”

CAUSE: The card is damage.

SULUTION: Return to the Silca and change a smart card.
